"A pre-requisite for an artwork that manifests a counter-consciousness is that the separation which existed between the artist and the audience is closed, that they become mutually engaged, to the point where the audience become the rationale in both the making and the reception of the work." - Stephen Willats, Society Through Art

Craft Night #3 & Craft Night #4: Spring into SPRING!
Craftville's Craft Night #3 & Craft Night #4 were as fun as can be!
Craft Night #3 consisted of making paper flowers. We made a ton of paper flowers and placed them all around the gallery. By the end of the night, we had flowers popping up out of the stage, the shelves, the carousel book: EVERYWHERE! It was magical . . .
At Craft Night #4, we celebrated SPRING! We made fabric flower wristlets and button rings. The president of Belmont stopped by and said hello, and some spontaneous drummers showed up and performed! Our bird-friend, Megpie, from the opening reception flew in and helped finish up the outside installation and did a bit of fingerweaving. What a great way to end our Craftville Craft Nights and Deliciously Happy! A great closing celebration indeed!
